The first time Mandrake Update is started, a download site must be chosen to retrieve the security updates from.

To locate a download site:

1) First make sure you're connected to the Internet

2) Select "Update the list of mirrors" to retrieve a list of available servers

3) Browse through the list of FTP mirrors and choose a convenient location to download the updates
